I bought this stove to replace a ESBIT stove of the same design that leaks. The simmer ring/flame snuffer is difficult to put on the stove while burning and it doesn't snuff the flame well. However the stove itself is well constructed and the burner support is a good, lightweight desiign. It does not work with a pot diameter less than 4 inches.
