I have yet to test it. However, it will solve the problem I have when lighting meths in the cold . The soaked pad will vapourise much more effectively.
The cold start to cooking is also solved.
All with an absolutely insignificant increase in weight.
And finally, I at last have an absolutely magnificent aluminium plate. I know it is a reflector but it is also by far the best plate that I have ever used. It is a neat combination of bowl and platter.
