This rope is 9.9, but feels thinner. I was a bit surprised that it feels treated. That makes it not have as good a hand as I’d hoped. It however has already taken a beating and seems to be holding up well

I was looking for a rope that was shorter and lighter than my 70 m rope which was a little overkill for Gym's or crags. This rope fit the bill nicely at $87 on camp saver. When I first unwrapped it I noticed that the rope was a little stiff and knotted up easily but after a few times in the gym it seems to have loosened up a little. I also noticed that while lowering someone on a grigri it would run through the grigri extremely fasts risking dropping somebody. So be careful. also after a few uses it seems to be running through the Grigri a little more predictably.
