Sweet tools
Haven't gotten to swing them in ice yet, but they are top notch. The new grip design is perfect for my sizaeable hands+gloves, and the huge single molded rubber piece for the main and upper grip is really nice. Geometry is perfect (nearly identical to Nomics). Only wish there was a hammer adze option, but really I'm kidding myself because I personally have no use for it. If I do I'll just buy a hammer.

Super Fun Climbing
I had a super fun time with these climbing on mixed rock and snow. They are still solid and well made. The price is great, which means I can order a second set for my son, and as a nice little bonus, they come with pick covers and a hex tool.

Great tool at a bargain price
Trango doesn't make a lot of products, but everything they do make is quality at a great price. These are my first pair of tools and I don't plan on replacing them anytime soon. Initially I thought they may be entry level due to the price point, but after a couple seasons of swinging them in ice, you simply cannot beat their performance to price. They have a nice balanced weight, nice profile, and just all around are nice to punch into ice.
I have used other top of the line BD, Petzl Nomic, etc tools and while you can definitely tell a difference, I don't think it justifies the extra $2-300 you will spend.
Buy these tools, you won't regret it!
