I have had two hip replacements but still canoe camp and love it. Camp chairs are too low, too narrow or too damn big, so if I took anything it was a folding stool I bought in an Ortho store.
Then I sat in a Roo...
It was love at first sit.
To make sure I bought the best one I drove from outfitter to outfitter in a period of a month and "ass tested" every chair I could find.
Since I couldn't sit in the two best ones in the same place I bought them both.
When I tried them side by side the Roo was the "ass down" winner by a landslide.
One of the great features are the feet - other chairs sink in the dirt because of the small surface area. The Roo solves that.
Looking forward to many nights in front of the campfire in comfort.
It won't come with me on the trips where we have serious portages, but on the other trips it will be on my equipment checklist. I specifically bought it for an 8 day canoe trip with minimal portaging.

Looked a long time liked the Helios chair but didn't like the deer this one is very similar but has a nicer foot that doesn't tend to sink in the soft ground . seems to be holding up good have a older travlechair brand chair that is 15 years old and is still going strong hope this one lasts as long
