I've heard so many good things about Trek Light's hammocks over the years, I remember they were one of the very first (if the not the first?) companies making lightweight hammocks like these after I saw them at a festival in Colorado back in 2002 or 2003 - and that counts for a lot in my book.

However, for some reason I kept trying out other brands (ENO, Kammok, etc.) and I began to think a lot of the brands were all the same. BUT, I finally got myself a TLG Double this year and I couldn't be happier.

The Lifetime Warranty alone is incredible - when they say 'happiness guaranteed' they mean it. I had one small issue with my hammock and interacting with the TLG team felt like talking to a friend and not a company. The hammock is bigger than my ENO Double and more comfortable as a result, but it actually weighs less because it doesn't have the compression straps on the pouch.

I also found out after I bought it that they plant two trees for every hammock sold, that's awesome. Trust me, get one!
