Disappointed

This was my fourth purchase of Trekstas and I was excited to try a newer version of old favorites. I previously owned and loved the Evolution GTX, Evolution II, and Sync Mountain GTX. I had minor issues with each of these models, but they were overall great shoes with wonderful support throughout the entire shoe. Unfortunately, I am sorely disappointed in the Evolution 161 GTX. They still have great support in the soles, but the new model no longer cradles the entire foot like the older versions did. These shoes are also made with a cheap looking material that gets dirty easily, which is not a good feature for trail hiking shoes. My local retailer no longer carries Trekstas, so I went out of my way to locate these shoes in my size. Sorry I did. Do not recommend.

Great versatile shoe

This shoe is great for hiking and walking. This is my third pair of Treksta's. Helps with my planter faceitis.
