Reviews & Ratings for Treksta Evolution II - Men's
— 6 reviews — Page 1
If you're looking for an updated, better version of the the first evolution, that's not what you're going to get. The heel feels more flat with less support along with less support in the front also. They are very comfortable but have more of a zero to 10mm drop minimalist trail shoe, which I'm not a fan of. The original version is what you want and what I just got because that is a beautifully made, with fantastic performance and just overall better shoe

I previously owned a pair of the original Tekstra Evolution shoes and loved them. In fact, I bought a second pair for when the first pair finally wore out. Both pair have since bit the dust. The original shoes were very well made and offered great arch support and were very comfortable after a short breaking in period. The original shoes were a little snug in the toes. So when I saw the Evolution II's I decided to order up a size. The new version is equally well made as the original, but unfortunately the larger size has caused a little heel slippage. I am returning them for that reason. I recommend these shoes highly for someone who can get the right fit. The quality is good, foot support is great, comfort level is excellent and the previous shoes were very durable.

These shoes keep your feet at the proper positioning for all activities. This reduces fatigue. My feet don't feel tired at the end of a long day anymore. They did with Nike Converse and even New Balance which were the best until I found Treksta. Although it might take a week or two for the shoes to contour to your feet, but once they do they are the best. The footbed seems like it is very sturdy and will last a long time, but is also flexible for running. The ice lock grip really does work as I had a chance to try them out with our record ice and snow this year in the northeast with surprising levels of grip when I should have been sliding. I have broken both my ankles and one foot and leg. No other shoe allows me the freedom of activities without pain like this shoe does. I still longboard at 45yrs old.
