Reviews & Ratings for Ultimate Direction PB Adventure Vest 2.0
— 7 reviews — Page 1
The vest itself is surprisingly heavy (compared to my MH 6-liter hydration pack at 5 oz) and is going to be warm on a hot day. Once the many adjustment points are dialed in, the pack carries a 7- to 8-pound load without bouncing or swaying while running at a 5 to 6 mi/hr pace. Sizing was tricky for me. At 5'7" and 142 lbs, I found that the M/L was too large even with the pack full and everything cinched down to the limit. The first thing I read when I received the product is the product manual. There are a lot of pockets in this bag so you could put every things like gel, hiking poles, clothes, cell phone etc, in an organized way.
The size of the bag is just fit and I like it very much.

I've found the PB Adventure Vest to be optimal for day long self-supported expeditions. I've used it on multiple 50-60 mile runs in the mountains throughout the summer as well as some less technical climbs. The capacity is ample for carrying plenty of food and water as well as extra layers and emergency overnight gear. However, the sizing does run small when it's loaded, so order a size up.
