I've put in three trail runs of about 1 1/2 hours in the New Mexico summer heat and this vest has been great. I usually only carried one bottle in my 2-bottle Salomon vests, but this one puts the bottle more balanced in the center. It rides well there, no bounce and pretty comfortable and easily accessible. I haven't tried it yet, but a second bottle of the same size could ride in the back pouch, or one or more smaller bottles. Phone fits nicely in the waterproof rear pocket. Only minor con is that the waterproof pocket adds a little extra sweat on the back of the shirt; for me, in the desert, I would prefer the pocket just be mesh, but if I was still in the PNW the waterproof would be welcome. Overall the vest is good for summer with the mesh and low profile.
