Case Arrived broken

The clasp on the case arrived broken off. Funny thing is that the box it was in didn’t contain the latch either. Almost seems that it was shipped like that. Disappointing. The striker is small but functions properly. I was looking forward to adding this to my camping kit but since the case won’t seal shut it will have to be an at home kit. I haven’t had this issue with the other stuff that I’ve purchased and hope that this is a one tim deal. Fingers crossed.

Solid basic fire starter kit for out in the field

This kit has everything you'll need to get a fire going while out on a hike. I would treat it as an "emergency only" kit though since supplies are limited inside it. It doesn't get five stars because the locking clasp on the waterproof case is really loose when in the locked position. Definitely not tight enough to create a waterproof seal.
