I was surprised this stove would not pressure up. Worked fine at 4K ft. at 90 degrees, but at 9,400 ft. and 48 degrees it would not pressurize. After the first fill, used an alcohol fire under it for 2 more fills and had the same result.

The biggest problem is: When I open the three legs (top and bottom), put the pot on it. It's not in horizontal. The build quality is poor.
Second problem is: The fuel tank is too small, you may have to fill fuel twice to boil a 1 liter water.
Preheat the stove will be need. if you hope it burn well.
This stove is light and compact. but the home made soda can stove will do good also.

Extremely poor stove compared to all other alcohol stoves I've tried. Check out BPL Reader reviews for much more information about this "stove".[@]

bought this for my son. He likes it very much because he tends to be minimalist. We tried the stove couple of times around the house to test it. It works fine.
