Good for trail run and also daily use.
Compared with "Mindbender", its sole is thicker and provides much cushion. So, you can use this item for hiking as well as a daily use on the paved road. If you are a serious trail runner, then "mindbender" may be better, although it'd give you "hard" feeling when you walk on the paved path with it.

Good, but not great quality
I've had three pairs of Velocities that took years to wear out. I bought these shoes in May and the sole is already starting to peel off and the stitching is pulling out in three places around the laces. I'm pretty bummed about the build quality after owning Velocities.
Other than that, they are great shoes: comfortable, light, breathable, and stable. Too bad I'm afraid they won't last long.
