Great high-quality for affordable price - Vasque Breeze III Hiking Boot - Men's

My wife and I both got these boots (hers in womens) and took them out for some forest/river hiking here in Minnesota. They performed excellently. The mesh keeps your feet cool, while the thick soles allow you to navigate uneven terrain without feeling it on your feet. There's also just enough non-mesh material in the bottom inch of the shoe that we were able to step through some very shallow puddles and streams (as soon as water hits mesh though, you'll be feeling it on your socks).

In all, we're very very pleased, especially considering how much I drooled over a $230 pair at REI before finally forcing myself to reluctantly purchase cheaper boots. Now that I own the Breeze III's, I no longer care about the $230 pair.
