I have owed every generation of these boots and I can't say enough good things about them. We have hiked over 300 km's in the Dolomite's and Swiss Alps and never had a blister. They have good traction and stand up well in water.
Great boots. This is my third pair and they have never needed a breaking in to feel good on my feet. I have always bought the boots with Gortex water proof but for some reason these boots did not have Gortex. i thought all Valque boots had Gortex. I am pleased with how quickly my boots arrived. Good service.
My wife and I both got these boots (hers in womens) and took them out for some forest/river hiking here in Minnesota. They performed excellently. The mesh keeps your feet cool, while the thick soles allow you to navigate uneven terrain without feeling it on your feet.
