I'm an ultra runner and have been looking for a pair of trail running shoes that are wide enough for my feet, and have enough padding/ protection to get me through a 100 miler. Tried Hookas, but they are just not wide enough for me. I wear a 4E width in my Asics road shoes. The mindbenders have a nice wide toe box that gives me plenty of room. I've only worn them twice for a total of 18ish miles o

I bought these to hike through Oregon on the PCT. They are much lighter than the boots I used going through Washington but they were not lacking in any way. They are solidly built. The tang in the sole prevents your arch a lot of pain walking in rocky areas.
I had no hot spots or blisters. I wore medium weight wool socks. The lacing and heel cup made the fit solid. I generally wear a 9.5 or 10 dep

Took these shoes out for a 8 mile trail run for the first time, the shoes are light weight yet offered great protection from the rocks and were very stable.

I decided to try Vasques brand and the Mindbender seemed to fit what I was looking for, light wieght, and price. Since I used them I'm very pleas

I usually wear the Vasque Velocities, but these were such a good price I decided to try something new. These are great shoes, not quite as supportive as the Velocity, but still good enough. They are light, fit comfortably, and well built. If you need a light trail running shoe, these are a great choice.
