Most Helpful Positive Review Love these boots!
So far I love these boots! I bought them so I can continue to walk/hike in the woods and rocky trails near my house all year, and even the sidewalks around town that people don't properly shovel. I bought them in mid winter so haven't tried them in all conditions yet. We didn't get a ton of snow this year. So far they have been great for the freeze/thaw cycles that we've been having - a combo of packed snow conditions, ice, mud. Very good traction and sturdy. I feel safe walking in these. My feet stay very warm with one pair of socks in the temps we've been having, lowest in the 20's. I look f...

Warm functional boot

by Jessie, from Baden-Württemberg, Germany Written on December 15, 2017
I have never owned boots that keep my feet completely warm until these! I’ve worn them several times in sub-zero temps without socks (!) and my feet were toasty. I ordered a half size up and they fit perfect, both with and without socks. The treds are very good for walking on snowy trails and the boots provide great ankle support.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • durable
  • waterproof
  • warm
  • good treads
  • good ankle support
Cons:
  • Dull color
  • slightly heavy like any decent winter boot
Best Used for:
  • winter hiking
  • snowshoeing
  • winter errands
  • sub-zero Christmas markets
  • outdoor winter events

Best boots I ever had!

by Beth A., Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on April 6, 2017
With an allergy to wool, Sorel pak boots are out of the question for me. I have been looking for some boots which will keep my feet warm and dry-and now I have found them! I just wish they were available in a zip version for quicker on/off.

Really like these!

These are nice and warm, I only got one truly snowy day to test them, but they kept my feet completely dry. Good grip for hiking. Good for narrow feet since you can adjust the laces (which are a bit long) Not sure how the suede will hold up, but happy so far.

Poor fit, only for narrow, narrow feet

by June, Verified Owner Written on January 6, 2017
I really tried to make these boots work for me. I generally have no trouble with footwear fit. I bought these for winter hiking in the White Mountains of NH. They are the most poorly fitting boots I have ever had. The toe box is extremely narrow without any resemblance to a natural foot shape. The arch support is non-existent. At the same time the heel is bizarrely wide and cups in deep at the back base of the heel. I could feel heel hotspots just walking around my yard while wearing top quality liner socks and trekking socks. I have tried everything and have finally given up and will be giving these boots away. I tried multiple combinations of socks, a boot stretcher to try to expand the toe box, heel pads to try to accomodate for the poor heel design, orthotics, played with the lacing, which is also poorly designed. Maybe these boots would work for someone with very, very narrow feet. Dissapointed....I thought they'd be awesome....

These boots are the best!

by Lisa S., Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on January 6, 2017
I was looking for a winter boot for walking and hiking that were lightweight, comfortable, and warm. These fit the bill. They are the most comfortable and warmest boots I've ever owned. They are great in snow and rain and are fairly easy to put on and take off. I usually wear a size 6.5 or 7. I ordered the 7 and there's plenty of room for heavy socks. I just love them!

so far so good

by sky, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on November 18, 2016
i just got these in anticipation of a lot of cold days outside, but that weather has not yet arrived! ive only worn them around the house, but so far: not super sweaty, pretty good flexibility, doesn't cut me at the ankle bend, i have dumped water on them and it just rolled off, really nice and thoughtful tread design w a hard plastic and a softer plastic, and no clompy walking... 5 stars so far, and they are really cute in a moon boot kinda way. Campsaver was fine, although i didn't get the socks (gift w purch) in my order!!

Great winter hiking boots

by James H., Written on August 8, 2016
These boots are popular among my female hiking friends in the Adirondack High Peaks so they were my first choice when I bought a pair for my girlfriend. (The male version, the Snowburban, is also very popular.) My girlfriend hasn't tried them in the snow yet but she said they fit nicely and she looks forward to using them this winter. My only criticism is the lack of a D-ring for use with some types of gaiters but I haven't bought her gaiters yet so I will know what to look for.

Love them!

by anita h., Written on March 7, 2016
These boots are very well made, have good traction and keep my feet warm. I usually have trouble with cold feet all of the time, and these work very well, especially if I keep them in front of the heating vent before I put them on. They even come with extra laces!

Great Purchase!

by Mary W., Written on January 23, 2016
Wanted to wait until I had a chance to put them to use before commenting. Have been looking for a high traction boot for winterwear. After some research, this boot received high ratings overall. After our most recent blizzard, I am very happy with performance. They are warm, comfortable to walk in and have great traction on slick patches. Campsaver had the best price and service was fast. Very satisfied!
