Got these boots in 2016 and used for 3 years no issue. Packed away safely in my house for two years during lockdowns and used on first trip and the stitching on one of the boots has given way. Cheap Chinese made cr** boots, don't buy. Campsaver, how about a refund or at least a credit? Very unhappy customer with these after paying so much I would expect these to last at least 5 years. I have a picture if you want to see them.

These boots don't need to be broken-in. Other brands I have purchased are very stiff, and must be slowly "worked" in order to wear on a long term basis. They are very comfortable right out-of-the box. Highly recommend.
Pros:
Comfortable and attractive
Cons:
None I have found
Best Used for:
all around

I have been a hiker and mountain hunter for decades and I know what constitutes good, reliable and consistent footwear. In the rugged mountains of northern Canada, you need the kind of footwear Vasque Boots make. Comfort, ease of use, tough durable construction and excellent quality materials make Vasque a very stable and enduring superior boot in all kinds of terrain. Nothing else will do. Period.

It's hard to find an all leather boot. My son (30) was pleased with this boot to wear as a casual shoe to work, church and anywhere else. He's not a big hiker, so they weren't for that purpose. It looks much nicer than the cloth ones.

These are very good boots - they look and feel great and appear to be well made. I've worn them a week, on several small hikes, including one five miles long with 700 feet of elevation. I got size 10 wides. My right foot is 10.5 inches and my left is 10.7 inches, but my right foot is wider than my left. The fit on the left is perfect. On the right there is some pain going uphill, on the outside of the base of the thumb toe, on the side of the ball. However, it hasn't caused blisters and it is reducing every day as the leather breaks in. Going downhill is painless.
