I've recently transitioned to barefoot shoes and wanted to get a pair of nice looking, versatile style shoes. My first pair of barefoot shoes are Xero Brio and they are nice for workouts and general use. Many of the barefoot shoes I've seen online are sneaker-like in appearance so I was thrilled to find these! I also like the context of their manufacture. I read the reviews for guidance on sizing and most of them stated that the shoes ran large. I normally take a 9 so I ordered the 8. They fit but there was no room in the toe. I ordered a 9 (which I haven't received yet) and I think they will do just fine. Other than the length being a little short, the styling and construction were quality. Only other thing I wasn't thrilled about was the sole was THIN. I realize they are supposed to be a barefoot, in-contact-with-the-ground type of footwear but it was too thin. I added a thin piece of felt and that helped. Will be buying more of this brand!
