A perfect layer
I have had this hoodie for 4 years. I love it. I wear it as a stand alone layer or a base. The hood is perfect for keeping cold air off of my ears and neck. I wear it biking with the hood under my helmet, snowshoeing with goggles over the hood, I have climbed mountain with it. It is amazing! It does not hold smells, it has held up under packs and as an only shirt. I highly recomend for people who love quality outdoor clothes.
Pros:
- Light, packable, and warm
- No stink
- Hood turns with your head
Cons:
- I only have one
Best Used for:
- HIKING
- travel
- Baselayer
- biking
- Sunny mountains

Great piece off of clothing
I purchased this hoodie a few years ago and put it through the wringer. I love it! It is a super lightweight hoodie that works stand alone or as a layering piece. I have gone on runs down into the 20's with just this hoodie. (And pants). I also have worn this hoodie in temps into the 80's and have stayed comfortable.
I love the Merino wools ability to not retain odors. I spent over a week in this shirt on a trip to Peru without washing and no problems. I also have there long tee tech. (Same just no good) It is a great product from a great company.

Great hoodie
I use this hoodie all the time. Comfortable and light weight. Great for hikes when the sun is beating down on you. Pricey but as much as I use it, I'm getting my money's worth. In September I'll be hiking the John Muir trail and this will definately be in my arsenal of gear.

Great hoodie
Absolutely love this hoodie. Very lightwieght and breathable. It’s not itchy as some wool products can be. Dries quicker than 100% merino. I even mowed the yard in it the other day when it was very hot and humid here in the South. Wore it for a few days after that and not even a hint of odor.

NIce ... Really Nice.
Great sun protection! I fly fish and hike in the southeast, and need protection from the sun. The usual problem is the heat (e.g., 116F in Arkansas, a few summers ago).
We're not at the height of summer, yet, but there are indications that the River Run is what I've been looking for. The loose drape is not only comfortable, but should help with the cooling. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, and wear the Large.
I've already saturated it with sweat. Evaporation was fast and effective at cooling. !t Washes nicely; dried on "Air Fluff" in less than an hour.
I'll update this, once the summer heat hits.
BTW, I have the River Run print. It looks pretty much like it looks in the picture. I like it.
