This jacket is a replacement for my Arcteryx Cerium SV jacket. I lost my Arcteryx jacket (that I loved) on a plane and tried to replace it, but the newer version didn't fit well. The upper arm area had too much space. So, I put a lot of research into finding the right replacement. I liked this brand because it's made in Canada and they use 900 down fill in their jackets. This jacket is lighter and more packable than the Cerium SV. The second I tried on the Flores hoody, I knew I made the right choice. It fits perfectly - not too tight (I can fit a sweater under), but not too puffy. The hood is not adjustable, but it fits perfectly. I'm 5 feet and 98 lbs with a short torso and narrow shoulders, so I often have trouble fitting jackets, but the XS is basically a tailored fit. I have not tested this out on a hike yet, but I love how light it is. I wore it out today in Boston at around 30 degrees and I was VERY warm. In comparison to Arcteryx, I would guess the warmth factor is in between a Cerium LT and SV - which I was looking for. The SV was often much too warm. I plan to wear this on hikes and skiing with a waterproof shell when needed. I got the blue color which is gorgeous in person. Very true to the photo. My only complaint is that my jacket did not come with a stuff bag - maybe that's a mistake?
