Most Helpful Positive Review Western Mountaineering simply the best
We bought 2 of these Western Mountaineering bags and they are absolutely fantastic. WM bags are of the highest quality, the lowest weight and seriously warm. Yeah it costs a lot but it also lives up to its temp rating so you wont be sending back 5 other bags before you eventually get a WM bag anyway. First off the bags we received had an amazing amount of loft, actually more than the 6 inches adve

Warm Light Luxury

by Sam, Verified Owner from PH, Romania Written on December 4, 2017
This sleeping bag is perfect for temperature ranging from -15 Celsius to 0. As I am a warm sleeper, I think that using it in temperature over 5 Celsius will be overkill.
The sleeping bag is really light and you will value this best in long trips when every ounce counts. It also compresses very well in a eVent Sea To Summit compression sack.
The quality is nothing short of great. The zipper is working properly.
Together with the sleeping bag, I've bought a Western Mountaineering HotSac VBL i.e. a vapor barrier liner. Not tested it, but I expect to extend the temperature range down to -20 Celsius.
Best Used for:
  • cold night but not frigid

Wonderful as to be expected

by Eileen N., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 28, 2016
Western Mountaineering is an excellent company I expected a great product and that is what I got. It was tosty worm but keep in mind i have only used it on one trip and it only got down into the low 40s. The bag flufed up beautifully. The fabric was a little different than I expected, but once I slept in it I liked it. The bag feels solid, even though the fabric is very thin. I didnt feel like i needed to be careful with it. What impressed me the most was the customer service. I wanted my bag the next day so I could take it on a trip the day after that. They didnt get it out on time when I called about it the man was very apologetic easy to talk to and polite. He held shipping the bag until I got home. He also removed the shipping fee, and gave me a discount for my inconvenience. All with no hassle.

Nice Loft

by Jesse F., Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on March 31, 2016
This Sleeping back has great loft. I'm 5'11" and I opted for the 6'6" bag with the left zipper. The 6' bag just barely fit me. The zipper and draft collar are great.
