Wookie's Review of Weston Timber Snowboard
Groomers- the Timber is playful and edge strong. Powder- the Timber floats amazing in the light stuff and still pounds through chopped snow. I rode the 159 Timber on a trip to Baldface Lodge in Nelson, Canada. Having a tail is what separates this board from a powder specific board. I was able to have more for than just “SFD” (Straight F’n Down), the pillows became play fields. The Timber will always be in my quiver!
Pros:
- I never feel like I have the wrong stick with me.
Cons:
- As with all boards, ice is not the favorite. This is only because I refuse to over sharpen my edges for these condition. I just prefer not to ride or find a better aspect. Personal problem though.
Best Used for:
- Enjoying all terrain efficiently !
