The daily driver for the rider who enjoys different terrain every run

by Wookie, from CO, United States Written on November 8, 2019
Groomers- the Timber is playful and edge strong. Powder- the Timber floats amazing in the light stuff and still pounds through chopped snow. I rode the 159 Timber on a trip to Baldface Lodge in Nelson, Canada. Having a tail is what separates this board from a powder specific board. I was able to have more for than just “SFD” (Straight F’n Down), the pillows became play fields. The Timber will always be in my quiver!
Pros:
  • I never feel like I have the wrong stick with me.
Cons:
  • As with all boards, ice is not the favorite. This is only because I refuse to over sharpen my edges for these condition. I just prefer not to ride or find a better aspect. Personal problem though.
Best Used for:
  • Enjoying all terrain efficiently !

The Timber is my Co-Pilot

by Wookie, from CO, United States Written on November 1, 2019
The Cam Rock Profile never lets me down. Edge and Stability with Float for those days later powder stashes. This is my forth generation of Timber simply because they keep getting better. My familiarity has definitely helped in maneuvering the varied conditions that The Colorado Rockies require.
Pros:
  • The outrageous float has helped me avoid many snow sharks in the early season.
Cons:
  • None (seriously)

1st timer or all timer

This board is a solid workhorse, it gets the job done! Great board if you're just getting into snow sliding but also a great all around board for the seasoned rider. I use this board daily at the resort!

Buttery little biscuit

by Brendo, from CO, United States Written on October 30, 2019
This is board is a great all around board and great for anyone at any level of riding. Being true twin rocker camber rocker profile it’s a great go to board for day to day riding. Whether you want to hit the park all day or crush some pow the board will pop, carve, slide, butter and float like a hoss.
Best Used for:
  • Day to day riding, great board for all levels

super fun playful twin all-mtn destoyer

by last place BH, from CO, United States Written on October 30, 2019
Super fun, playful - FORGIVING is main word I'd use. It doesnt catch edges like my old camber board. It is perfect for learning new tricks like butters and 360's. I find myself making it out of situations in the park I shouldnt have haha. I love it in powder too - the reverse camber shape floats super well riding reg and switch. Highly recommend for a daily driver resort board. Killin it!
Pros:
  • forgiving
  • playful
  • nimble
  • twin
  • reverse camber hybrid - but not crazy
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • resort all-mtn

Great for progression

by CVA, from CO, United States Written on October 14, 2019
this board is an awesome all mountain ripper, great for taking your riding to the next level. If you're just starting out this board is a great one to learn on, its very forgiving, the contact points of the edge with the snow are in places that allow for minimal edge catching, but also if you're at a higher level you can really dig this board into the snow and rip some carves and pops off this thing. Awesome for freestyle & park riding, as well as freeriding outside the park, floats well in pow with its hybrid- camber profile keeps the nose and tail elevated a bit. pops like a true camber profile, jibs like a rocker profile.
