The 176cm skis and Weston skins exceeded my expectations in harsh backcountry conditions, with freezing temperatures and high winds. The skins performed flawlessly across 2,500 vertical feet and four laps of repeated application and removal. Despite blowing snow, the glue stayed reliable, adhering perfectly to both the skis and the snow, while offering excellent glide on the skin track.
As for the skis, they delivered the signature Weston experience: dependable and a blast to ride. They were quick and responsive in the trees yet stable and fun in open bowls. Their lightweight construction was a standout feature, and I’m looking forward to using them on an upcoming hut trip. For reference, I’m 6 feet tall and 155 pounds. While the 176cm skis worked great, I could have easily gone with the 184cm without any issues.

This ski truly does it all. Unlike most carbon skis, it not only handles soft snow well, but it has enough torsional rigidity to hold a solid edge on resort hardpack or death crust in the backcountry. I've been riding this ski hard for over a season now and they still look brand new and ski like they did on day 1. Would absolute recommend this ski for any and all abilities.
Pros:
Versatile
Lightweight
stable
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Backcountry skiing
