You can't beat it for the money
very nice high quality axe. I love the wood, though the wood looked like it was stained, I put some boiled linseed oil just to be sure. Axe head was very sharp, enough to cut a piece of paper. Hope to make good use of it during backpacking.

Really Great Hatchet for the $$
This hatchet is excellent quality! When it arrived, it was still bearing the remnants of its forging, which really added to the character of the product. I gave it to a good friend of mine, who really loved it. Next time I am with him, we are both going to go into the woods and test it out! I expect that it will be very useful and sturdy because of it's impeccable construction.
