It works!
Takes a few tries to get the hang of folding it, but it works great and design self-reefs. Fun, and useful for long paddles.

Helps on Long Journeys
You have to understand this sail is what it is, essentially a glorified kite. The beautiful product videos/ images do idolize it a bit, yet it is still good at doing its job. Since it doesn't have a mast it will collapse when it doesn't have wind, and you can only sail at such an angle to the wind as well. It performed rather poorly for my 7-foot, flatbottom, keel-less craft, which it was powerful enough to make it track from side to side, but with a fair amount of jerry-rigging I was able to use it to my advantage. If you live in an area with a steady diurnal wind, it's probably worth a shot. TL;DR it will help you pickup mileage on longer days and take the stress of your arms, don't expect to have wine & cheese in your tandem with your girlfriend.
