This is my first zamberlan boots,
I'm an outdoors hiker, here in baja california mexico we have desert and mountains, I have use a lot of hiking boots brands, vasque, asolo, merrell. You name it.
This are by far the best hacking boots I ever had, there is quality on every single detail I just can't take them off I use them even for work! Sadly here in summer temperature goes up to 125° F.
It took me awhile to pull the tiger on this boots because of the price, know I'm going after the tofane. They worth every penny.

Great fit right out of the box, they fit just like my Zamberlan 996 Vioz GTX boots, almost no time needed for break in. Like the fact that these can be resoled when needed. Will allow me to keep using these boots for many years to come.
I wear these with heavy socks for the winter time hiking and snowshoeing in the Cascade Mountain region. Have great grip and are very comfortable to wear all day long hiking.
Expensive, yes, but doubt I will ever need to by another pair in my lifetime. Well worth the cost.

I've had a pair of these for a year. I'm a high end backpacking footwear geek and I LOVE these boots. I have lots of different makes, so no need to take these on the trail..yet. I have no doubts in their performance. They aren't too bad to break in and they fit me great. I have gotten lots of compliments on them. The Italian workmanship is second to none. Made in Italy is one of the first things I look for, as they are true craftsmen. I quit buying Vasques when they outsourced to China or wherever. You won't find a better backpacking boot, so pull the trigger... you only live once.

I really like the room for thicker socks which is handy when snowshoeing. I enjoy the solid feel while hiking trails and protection from elements when used with gaitors when out doing my landscape photography. Living by the ocean and climbing rocks and cliffs all day takes it's toll but these boots hold up well. I should have bought two pairs I think. In case they stop making them. This once happe
