I got These Zamberlans to hike through Redwood National Park and they worked wonderfully. The boot didn't need a lot of breaking in and still provided great ankle support. I was wearing them for ten hours a day, hiking in steep terrain and never had any hot spots. I would recommend these to any serious hiker.
