Zamberlan Boots
Best, Best boots. This is my second pair of Zamberlan Boots and the only reason for the new pair is my feet grew. I am able to put these boots on and just go, no breaking in period needed. They provide excellent support and protect your ankles while hiking on uneven ground and on rocky trails. The boots will last "forever" providing you take care of them, clean and polish after your hike.

Nicest shoes of any sort that I've ever owned
I'm going to have to really up my mileage to justify owning such nice boots. These arrived a few days ago, and so far I've only walked around town in them, but we're going backpacking this weekend and I have zero doubts that they're going to be great. The fit is perfect, and the craftmanship (craftwomanship?) is unbelievable. I never would've spent so much money on boots, but they were on sale and hubby splurged on them for me. Probably one of the best gifts I've ever received, and so worth it because they can be resoled if they ever wear out. (Also so worth it because my other boots give me blisters on blisters.)

only needs a few hours to break in. new toe bumper and more leather inside ankle will be great since that is where my old vioz boots broke down after years. thought color may be too bright when ordering but it is a nice red, especially after some dust gets on it!
