I bought these boots because I had read very disappointing reviews of another very popular boot that used to be made in Italy, but is now coming from China. Conversely, I had read many rave reviews of the Zamberlan Trekkers, some from former fans of the other brand I was interested in. I was sold on the Trekkers by three things: they are made in Italy, the reviews of serious hikers, and Campsave
