Zamberlan's new 308 Trekker RR is built for comfort on the trail and specifically for those who appreciate a traditional leather-lined boot with modern amenities. The 308 Trekker RR is built on the Vibram Ananasi platform, allowing for excellent shock absorption with enough support to handle a 40 pound pack. Encased in 2.4mm waxed Tuscan leather and protected up front with Zamberlan's RRS (rubber-reinforcement-system) and lined with leather and Cambrelle for moisture wicking, the 308 Trekker RR has the looks and performance of an instant classic.

Lost a pair of Zamberlan boots when I fell in crossing a stream in the Wind Rivers, they were around my neck, I came out bruised but the boots went down stream. This brand has never disappointed me, quality leather boot, great fit. Cost has always bothered me but they were in your outlet and you gave me a coupon..... really hard to turn down.

I ordered these but returned because I did not like the fit for my foot. This review is just to help others with fit decisions. Boot runs true to length with a wider toe box than most other brands have today. The boot has a stiff leather heal with kind of a ridge where the leather ends and the ankle padding begins. Fit perfectly from the first wearing. Break in period was a series of 5 mile hikes. No hot spots or problems. The toe box is large and my heel is held well. The EU size in this case is a 43H and it is not used very often. Unfortunately not every EU size converts to the same US size, so sometimes there is a size that is not typical in a US shoe. This is why we post the size conversion chart provided by each brand rather than using a universal size chart.
