Many years ago I had a pair of Vasque Sundowner hiking boots that were made in Italy. Those boots lasted for over 7 years with almost everyday use including a year long backpacking trip through South America. After those wore out I got a new pair of Vasque sundowner gtx boots in preparation for a year long research trip to Costa Rica. I did not realize it at the time but the new vasque's were made
