bud's Review of Zamberlan 320 Trail Lite Evo GTX Hiking Boot - Men's
I have had a pair of Zamberlan backpacking boots for years and they fit perfectly, are well made, and are tough as nails, but my older leather-lined boots are also heavy. These trail lite boots are surprisingly lightweight, and the single-piece leather naturally wraps around the foot to give comfortable support with no hot spots, and that's with new boots: I have about 12 miles on them so far. No seams means they will seal out water well, the soles grip well while being less prone to bring forest duff home, and the quality is what I expected from Zamberlin. I always take a half size larger than street shoes for hiking/backpacking boots, and these fit similarly. Could not be happier.
Pros:
Comfort, Support, Craftsmanship, Materials
Cons:
expensive at retail--& worth it!
Best Used for:
Hiking & Backpacking
