Kim Presson's Review of Zamberlan Polar Hunter GTX RR Boa Hiking Shoes - Men's
I generally wear size 10.5D U.S. sizing. the fit stays pretty consistent regardless of brand. I found the Zamberlan Polar hunter to be a little more difficult I measured my foot according to the sizing chart and it told me to use size 9.5. However the website suggests half size down from my normal, this would mean a size 10. Since fit is so important I called Campsaver and talked with a very helpful person. She was not sure like me weather to do 9.5 or 10, or? She left the phone for a bit and talked with other employees and came back with a unanimous size 10 which I ordered. I have not hunted in the boot yet but have worn it around the house and the size 10 seems to work. with plenty of room in the tow. My width is D and the medium seems to be the same. Boot seems to be well constructed, easy on and off and well insulated. Will add comments after my next elk hunt.
Pros:
Well constructed, comfortable
Cons:
Sizing is difficult
Best Used for:
Snow and cold
Would Recommend:
Yes
