Most Helpful Positive Review How to find correct size
I generally wear size 10.5D U.S. sizing. the fit stays pretty consistent regardless of brand. I found the Zamberlan Polar hunter to be a little more difficult I measured my foot according to the sizing chart and it told me to use size 9.5. However the website suggests half size down from my normal, this would mean a size 10. Since fit is so important I called Campsaver and talked with a very helpful person. She was not sure like me weather to do 9.5 or 10, or? She left the phone for a bit and talked with other employees and came back with a unanimous size 10 which I ordered. I have not hunted...

ZAMBERLAN GTX BOA

by NOBLESKULL, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on May 8, 2024
EXCELLENT BOOT CONSTRUCTION. THE BOOTS BREAK IN NICELY FEELL SNUG AT FIRST. THE SOLE IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER BOOT COMPANY IVE TRIED. THE SOLE ENCOURAGES ONE TO ROLL THE FOOT THROUGH A NATURAL CADENCE THAT MAKES IT EASIER TO HIKE A GREATER DISTANCE WITH LESS FATIGUE.

Polar fit review

by LRPC243, from MT, United States Written on December 11, 2022
I spent the better part of 2 days looking into every review possible to find the correct fit for the Polar and no luck. I have always worn a size 10.5 US, I measured my foot and my left one was exactly 11inches. Fit guide from zamberlan suggested size 10US, I ordered a size 10.5 and it was WAY too tight. My foot even runs narrow to standard. With a thick wool sock this boot needs to be sized up. I reordered a size 11.5 and with a thick sock it fits much better, just a little loose. Boot is very stiff, fit is much more like a ski boot, alot of pressure in the anterior tibia and I leave the strap undone. I have mixed feelings, boot is very warm, boa works excellent, I wish it weren't so stiff and zipper is very tight to get done up, catches on strap. Size up at least 1/2 size or a full size if you plan on a thick wool sock. In a 10.5 when I first zipped it up the zipper split apart trying to zip it up.
Pros:
  • Features are great
Cons:
  • Fit is super tight, strap at ankle sucks.
Best Used for:
  • Short hikes, around camp in cold days. Super stiff.
