Although I never skied it and returned it because it was too small I liked the Fischer RC5 better. the construction and padding is much better. The lace lock is better on the Fischer. I liked the ankle support better on the Fischer as well.
I have skate skied numerous times with these boots. They are extremely comfortable and warm but a little wide for me - these are men's boots, I am female. My only complaint is that the cord lock doesn't lock so the laces loosen. I switched out the laces and cord lock for $5 and the problem was solved. The price was 1/2 of what I have seen everywhere else. Great deal!!
