The Alpenviolet is a modern, versatile and athletic low-cut hiking shoe for alpine trekking with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane. Designed specifically according to female ergonomics and biomechanics, it offers a comfortable, welcoming fit and follows the shape of the female foot. Stylewise, the Alpenviolet speaks for itself. The streamlined forefoot design matches the overall modern, athletic look and there is an integrated gaiter that keeps out trail debris. And the lightweight fabric upper construction means it requires less effort to hike in, further ramping up the comfort. To cope with technical mountain terrain, it's equipped with a Pomoca outsole designed to support the natural rolling movement of the foot. Together with the high traction Pomoca Butilic compound, it provides good support and secure grip on steep and varied ground. In addition, the Alpenviolet features the SALEWA 3F System for flexibility, heel support and a precise blister-free fit, Climbing Lacing for greater precision and a cushioning, breathable OrthoLite footbed for cooler, drier feet.
