The boots seem to fit my girlfriend very well and take very little if any break in. They seem to be very well made and time will tell how they hold up, however I anticipate well. The cable across the heel really cradles and supports her foot and the lacing that goes to the toe also allows quite a bit of support. This is especially true if you have s narrower foot.
I really want to go to the mountain to aaactually test them, but for what I've see and feel, these boots are extremately comfortable and well made! I'm absolutely happy with my purchase!

The boot does require some break-in time and doesn't have quite enough underfoot cushioning. Even with aftermarket insoles, I have sore feet at the end of my hikes. However, this is a small price to pay for healthy a... Read more
The toe box has a narrow profile that doesn’t allow for sloppy movement within the boot. The Mtn Trainers don't taper in the toe quite as much as the Alp Trainer. And they have the advantage of the Multi-Fit footbed which can help adjust fit.
