WORK FINE, BUT OH THE NOISE.

These tie downs work fine, but make an awfully loud whistling noise. I pulled over twice to see what was wrong with my car, before I realizes the noise was coming from the tie downs. I even took the Canoe and straps off the car did a test drive and yep the noise was coming from the straps.
