The X-Bowl is made from flexible, food grade silicone that collapses easily to form a small disc that can slide into any pack with ease. The Nylon base may be used as a cutting board when the X-Bowl is flipped upside down, making it a multi-purpose and functional piece of dinnerware. In addition, X-Series dinnerware nests neatly with the X-Pots to create a comprehensive space saving kit for a great camp kitchen set up.

Ingenious product, as most sea to summit's. Nice and cool for some luxury in your gear.
It's tops are quite unstable and unless the food in it is solid this may be an issue. Having and the x mug, which doesn't have a solid bottom but it has a solid rim ring, I find it much more stable and secure. If they added to the x bowl a solid ring in the rim it would be great.
These bowls and plates and mugs are awesome. Not only are they functional and handy, but as soon as you pull these out in the hut or at the campsite, they are an instant conversation starter for those awkward situation where you don't know your fellow campers.

LOVE this bowl! We bought one for a river trip, and since have purchased 4 more bowls and a teapot! They are so compact and fit in the lid/neck of the bear can so they barely take up any room when packing. LOVE THEM!!

Pros:
Great for saving space and eating in normal camping conditions
Cons:
- Folds easy so danger of spilling. Decided not to use it on an expedition because wanted to minimize my chances of spilling hot soup in my tent
- smaller than I thought. Larger bowl would have been more versatile

I like a real, hard plate, but love the collapsability of the bowl and cup, so nested S2S x-cup and x-bowl with a S2S Delta plate in a perfect fit mesh bag, bingo, dries out, all fits in the plate, and best of both worlds. Only problem, my last bowl got too close to the fire, so needed another one and bought this one. I'll give it six stars when it is fireproof!
