Great Backpacking Tent

Bought this tent just prior to a backpacking trip to Maine. The tent held up exceptionally well in hard winds and rain. There was no leaking on any part of the tent and had plenty of room for two people and gear inside the tent. Good for what it is designed for.

A good light weight, 3 season tent. Not a bomber tent for foul rain, or any sustained rain. The focus is on pac- ability, not protection or open air ventilation. As it is designed, it meets it's purpose. Just know it's limitations.

Q 1. Can the rain fly be completely removed and the inner tent used without the rain fly? 2. Can the tent be used without staking? Can it be picked up and shaken out without collapsing?

1. The rain fly cannot be completely removed. This tent is a hybrid Single/Double Wall where the rainfly is connected to the body of the tent.
2. The tent is freestanding and can be used without staking. It can be picked up and shaken out without collapsing.
