This is a very nice stove.
There is no need to preheat. It is not this effort is wonderful.
Need to care about this if only one I care, because the flare up of about 30 cm in height immediately after the ignition flame When the poor, in a tent when the weather is bad, because when you use to be worried about.
just picked this bad boy up the other day..haven't had a chance to take it out on a trail yet but I can already tell, after several dry runs, that it will be a great addition to my arsenal!
As you see from YouTube,it's very easy to operate,
even you have never used a stove. I like its preheat system especially,fast(about 10 seconds) and easy just like advertisement.
Besides,it burns completely.
The only drawback I think is its 30cm-long flame during preheating.That's a little bit scaring at first time you use it.
I have used the Muka for a whole season and it is everything that is advertised. My second trip was the Teton Crest Trail early July and there was only one night that wasn't on snow and this stove performed well. Soto had a group of Muka users who recently climbed Mt. McKinley in Alaska, and they had no issues. Soto also developed a special expedition air pipe recently that will enhance the fuel usage under high altitude conditions. It's called the "Fuel Maximizer."
