THIS IS THE PERFECT INVENTION FOR THOSE US US WHO DON'T WANT TO CARRY AROUND A FIRE ROD AND STRIKER TO IGNITE THEIR STOVES/FIRES. This is a great lighter at lower elevations, above 5500' not so much. Reason for 4 stars, can't complain as the company says it doesn't work that well above 5000', so I knew that before purchase. The sliding ignition button is a pain but manageable. Extended, the flame head makes it easy to light a stove or fire without burning your fingers. Smaller form factor than a BBQ light... Read more

Great lighter but returning it. At 5000 ft it works well enough that I almost kept it but at higher elevations not so much. It did not work at all at 8500 ft. so not a good backpacking or emergency solution for me.
