The Terra Nova Laser Photon Elite (2010) is the worlds lightest double-wall tent,and now has an incredible minimum weight of 1.45 lbs (660g)! This record-beating weight has been achieved through further development of their Superlite program, creating fabrics with the best strength to weight ratios possible as well as a totally new Scandium alloy pole that is lighter and easier to use, even with the optional pole hood in place. Reducing the height and re-distributing the space in the inner has allowed us to shave off unnecessary weight that can make all the difference to a race result, without altering the usable space in the inner tent. Note:Note: Due to the super light nature of the material used in the tents construction Terra Nova is unable to factory seal the seams, in a conventional method. However they are positioned and sewn in a way that minimises water penetration and it's possible to add further protection yourself, with seam sealer, to fully waterproof the tent. A free black pole cover (tied on) is also supplied with the Laser tents to fully waterproof the main seam, add stability, protect the zip and add extra protection to the most exposed part of the tent to UV damage.
