Alite Mantis "I like the chair so far, but I have only tried it out in the house, not camping. It is a little heavier, but sturdier, than the REI chair. I weigh 240 lbs, so I probably weigh 250 with cold weather camping gear on. I know that 250 lbs is the limit on the chair, but I saw a youtube video with someone loading 400 lbs of rocks on the chair and it survived without breaking, while the same load collapsed the REI chair. It does sit close to the ground and I have back pain, so I will need to work on the technique for getting into and out of it." |

Love it "Ultra quick delivery, paid via PayPal. Tea house tent is beautiful and once you figure it out fairly easy to put together, needs 2 set of hands. Huge size fits me, hubby and 4 kids under 10 + gear. It's more of a 2season type tent, good for summer and clear weather. We were in idyllwild, ca camping and the lows were in 50s we we were cold because of the openness of roof perimeter. Even with fly too on, it leaves and alcove opening so you feel the draft. Will be great as a beach shelter, base camp ;)" |
