Best replacement for original Altra TIMP

My wide and odd-shaped feet need a tall, flexible, and wide toe box. These fit my needs perfectly and replace my original series Altra TIMPs which have since morphed into sizing that no longer fit me. Size 10 fit true to size from Altra. Too bad this shoe is discontinued.

I ordered the size 12, but after walking around inside,I knew I'd need a 1/2 size larger.the quality of the shoe seemed to be very nice, but without really using out on the trail I just gave a 4 star.

So far so good

I’ve ran many many miles in the 1st version of this shoe and they performed very well. The new version feels almost identical so far…….hopefully this is the case for the long haul. Outsole performs really well in wet conditions, super tacky rubber. I usually run in hokas but in my opinion these have a better ground feel.
