The RUMBA 8 mm half rope offers great versatility in multi-pitch climbing, mountaineering, and ice climbing. It has a reinforced sheath for great durability, and also features Duratec Dry water repellent treatment for enhanced performance under any conditions. Multipurpose rope for multi-pitch climbing and mountaineering:- Duratec Dry treatment for use in rock, mixed, snow, or ice environments: water repellent treatment makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt, and abrasion; good handling, grip, and other characteristics are retained longer in cold, wet conditions- Two ropes can be clipped individually or together, depending on terrain or rope drag management
