When I cycle tour by myself this is great for camping each night. As my panniers are waterproof I can leave them outside, joined with a cable lock to the bike. As a couple we use this tent for 2-3 nights backpacking in the wilderness where we want to minimize weight.
Also where the tent is great if we are both cycle touring or walking from town to town and mainly staying in motels, cabins etc. this tent is a great backup option as it weighs and takes up stuff all space

I'm using this tent for the JMT.
I wanted a tent that I could take on solo trips as well as group trips. This tent provides enough space to sleep 2 people (tight fit) but is also a tent you can take on solo trips due to its light weight. (no need to split up tent amongst 2 people)

This tent was just what I needed:
-light weight
-small pack size
-accommodates 1 or 2 people
