Comments about Starter Kit:

This little kit is great. Yes, you could shop around and get a lighter weight set but that would end up costing you more. The stove hooks up to canisters quickly, lights even quicker and brings water to a boil in about a minute and a half. The pot is a great size for those who are mainly boiling water and the spork is pretty much like any other spork out there. I have one word of caution about the pot, and that is, make sure you have a pot grabber or something to insulate your hands from the handles of the pot when cooking. The handles conduct heat just like the rest of the pot and have a tendency to be very hot after boiling water. That would be my only complaint about the pot, other than that this has been a great kit and works well in all the conditions I have used it (rain, sun, snow).

This is a "must buy" for beginners. Everything fits into the cup, it was stable. I actually boiled some water on the rear bumper without damaging the car. It even stayed lit when the wind was blowing hard. I will be purchasing the little sauce pan to go with this set.
